Felix Ann Lea 74 of Kingsland, Arkansas passed away on November 20, 2017.
She was born May 25, 1943, the late Willie and Geonoria Crain. Felix married Ervin Lea Jr. in 1965.
Felix accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Liberty Hill under the leadership of Rev. Crutchfield, and later joined First Baptist Kingsland, under the leadership of Rev. J. A. Cooper. Felix graduated from Rison High school, after graduating she continued her education at Arkansas A M&N (UAPB) where she received a master’s degree in Education. Shortly after graduation she landed her first teacher’s job in Elaine, AR; later transferring to Fordyce Elementary as a reading teacher before retiring.
Four brothers and one sister proceeded her in death: Willie Celester Jr. (WC),Wheeler, Calvin James and Mary Hopkins.
Felix leaves to celebrate her life her husband of 52 years, Ervin Lea Jr.; one son Cornelius Lea; one daughter Linda Harris (James) of Kingsland, AR; three sisters, Doriscene (Joe) Taylor of Montgomery AL, Berdiaett Crain of Rison, AR., and Pastor Marilyn (Eddie) Block of Crossett AR; three brothers, Hoover Crain, Rison, AR., Rev. Samuel (Melody) Crain of Pine Bluff, AR., and Marvin (Barbara) Crain of Maumelle, AR. A host of nieces, nephews, friends and family members she touched in her own special way; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Her Funeral Services were held November 25, 2017 in Kingsland, Arkansas.
