RISON - (Left to right) Celeste Beatty, Roy Phillips and Douglas Boultinghouse with Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. take some time during the lunch hour Tuesday to put up lighted Christmas wreaths on the lamp posts in downtown Rison in anticipation of the Holiday Open House planned by downtown businesses this Thursday.
Billy and Marty Bowlin, Monica Fryar and Vickie Padgett joined them to decorate Main Street and the Park Tuesday evening.
Rison Shine also reports that it is getting a lot of response from people and group planning to put together floats for the Cleveland County Christmas Parade scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, in downtown Rison.
