Grant Workshop Set For March 28

RISON - Kickstart Cleveland County, in partnership with the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Research and Extension, and Southeast Arkansas Economic Development District, will host a workshop for grant writing for nonprofits and community-based organizations next Thursday, March 28, in Rison.The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hall-Morgan Veterans Building, 404 Sycamore Street in Rison across from the courthouse.In addition to nonprofits and community-based organizations, the grant workshop is also suitable for volunteer fire departments.Participants will learn how to understand the grant landscape (federal, state and foundation funds), identify grants for their organization, skills and tools for grant writing, and how to collaborate and partner for successful grants.Registration can be made online https://forms.office.com/r/ fMjPrMTPQY or by calling the Cleveland County Extension Office at (870) 325-6321.
