On November 6th, 2024 the majority of voters in our country delivered a loud and clear mandate demanding change from the past four years of inflation, open boarders, crime, DEI and the complete failure of the out-going administration.There seems to be an optimism and hope and renewed faith that the incoming House, Senate and President will lead us into a more optimistic future, but there is much work to be done over the next four years. We can’t sit back and just “watch and see what happens’! It is up to We The People to hold our representatives, those we’ve elected, whose salaries we pay, accountable for each decision they make on our behalf. Between now and mid-term elections in two years it is vitally important that we start now to be an active participant in the process by educating ourselves, being knowledgeable on what is happening locally, within our state as well as nationally, asking questions and being involved. Whether you are liberal or conservative, Republican or Democrat our right and privilege to participate in the process is a responsibility that must not be taken lightly lest we allow that God given right to be taken from us.I invite you to join us and become a member and active participant of the Cleveland County Republican Committee.Our next meeting is Jan. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Veterans’ Building in Rison.
