RISON - Trey Gerard of Saline River Tree Dogs at Rison will be hosting a benefit squirrel and coon hunt supporting Phil and Becky Green, whose house near Rison was recently destroyed by fire.
Both hunts will take place Saturday, Feb. 24. The squirrel hunt will be daylight to 11 a.m. With check-in at the Y Community Center in the Staves community. The coon hunt will be held from dark to midnight.
Chili will be available for purchase at the check-in.
The cost is $30 per one dog teams. The team with the most squirrels or coons will be declared the winner.
