Five From County Compete in Miss Ark. Pageants

LITTLE ROCK - Cleveland County will be represented well at the 2024 Miss Arkansas' Teen and Miss Arkansas scholarship competition June 8-15 at the Robinson Center in Little Rock.Kaylea Chastain, a recent graduate of Woodlawn High School; Cayla Johnson, a senior at Rison High School; Mallory Stuckey, a junior at Rison High School; and Gracen White, a senior at Rison High School will all be competing for the title of Miss Arkansas' Teen next week.Faith Tooke, a 2021 graduate of Woodlawn High School, and senior at Arkansas Tech University, will compete for the title of Miss Arkansas. Chastain is Miss River City's Teen. Her talent is a tap dance. Chastain's community service initiative is "Fostering a Love for Dance." Johnson is Miss Grand Prairie's Teen. Her talent is a jazz dance. Johnson's community service initiative is "Finding a Friend: The Importance of Mentoring Today's Youth." Stuckey is Miss Natural State's Teen. Her talent is a tap dance. Her community service initiative is "Love the Skin You're In: Melanoma Prevention & Awareness." White is Miss Boomtown's Teen. Her talent is a lyrical dance. Her community service initiative is "Show Grace: End Childhood Bullying by Learning to be an Upstander." Tooke is Miss Southeast Arkansas . Her talent is a vocal performance. Her community service initiative is "From Hunger to Hope." Miss Arkansas' Teen and Miss Arkansas are official preliminaries to the Miss America's Teen and Miss America competition.
