Rison Shine, Freedom Assembly Set Goal To Fund School Supplies for Rison Students

Body

RISON - Freedom Assembly and Rison Shine Community Development have announced a special initiative to support local students in the Cleveland County School District in Rison.

“Our goal is to raise $20,000 to provide all necessary school supplies for every student from elementary through high school,” said Pastors Kevin and Amber Hornaday. “Your generous support is crucial to the success of this campaign.”

Organizers have worked with principals at both Rison Elementary and Rison High School to obtain supply lists to cover every student.
All donations are tax-deductible and can be made in various forms. Monetary contributions of any amount are deeply appreciated, but donations of school supply items are also welcomed.

Here are a few ways the community can contribute:

Adopt a Class Supply List: For a $1,000 donation, you can cover the complete supply list for an entire class.

Specific School Supply Donations: Individuals, businesses, and organizations can choose to donate a specific amount of certain school supplies. Organizers will provide detailed school supply lists upon request.

Monetary Donation: Any monetary amount would be greatly appreciated.

Donations will be accepted through July 19. Additional supply donations will also be accepted at Rison Shine’s Back To School Bash Friday, Aug. 2. See related story.

“By participating in this campaign, you are directly contributing to the education and well-being of our community's children,” said Rison Shine President Celeste Beatty. “Your support will help take the financial burden off parents and ensure that all students have the tools they need to succeed academically this year.”

Freedom Assembly and Rison Shine would like thank the community in advance for the generosity and commitment to supporting the community.

“Together, we can make a significant impact and foster a brighter future for our students,” said the Hornadays.
