RISON - The Arkansas Land of Legends Travel Association brought its annual meeting to Rison's Pioneer Village last week. The travel association promotes Cleveland, Grant, Jefferson and Lincoln Counties. This summer, Land of Legends revitalized its Visitor's Guide with a new printed guide and interactive digital guide online. The Cleveland County Quorum Court and City of Rison went in together to purchase a full-page promotion in the guide. The guide features Cleveland County's highlights including its ties to music icon Johnny Cash, the Saline River and upcoming events, such as the Rison in the Fall Festival, Arkansas Homesteading Conference, Food Truck Friday, County Fair and more. Printed copies of the guide are available statewide at all travel centers. Locally, guides can be picked up at the Cleveland County Herald office, Cleveland County Courthouse and Rison City Hall.
