RISON - The Democratic and Republican party candidates for president will be found down ballot this year after the Cleveland County Election Commission held its ballot draw for the 2024 general election earlier this week.As has become a tradition in recent years, a local high school student was selected to draw for the positions Monday afternoon inside the Cleveland County Courthouse at Rison. Sarah Beth Melhorn, a senior from Woodlawn High School, drew for the positions for the contested races that will appear on the general election ballot.The two candidates from the major political parties, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, will listed fifth and sixth, respectively, among the seven candidates for president.The general election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5, with early voting opening on Monday, Oct. 21. The deadline for registering to vote in this year's general election is Monday, Oct. 7.Here is the order that the candidates will appear in the contested races on this year's general election ballot: Partisan Elections U.S. President/Vice President - Michael Wood/John G.
