RISON - This month's Food Truck Friday event will be held this Friday, Dec. 20 at the Pioneer Village from 4 to 7 p.m.
Participating food trucks are:
- Red Rocket Eats with Korean corn dogs, pork packets, loaded fries, cheesy pickles & more!
- Cheesecake on Point with a variety of flavors of their popular cheesecakes, including special Christmas flavors!
Note: This lineup has changed since the print and digital edition of the Herald was published Dec. 18. Due to a mechanical issue, Lucy Mae's Southern Foods can no longer attend on Friday. Rison Shine and the Pioneer Village are excited to welcome Red Rocket Eats in their place.
The Rison United Methodist Church Choir will host an encore performance of the First Noel Cantata beginning at 5:30 p.m.
During the event, the Village's drive-thru Christmas lights will also be open to the public.
Food Truck Friday is a partnership event between Rison Shine Community Development and the Pioneer Village. It is held the third Friday of each month.
Rison Shine and the Pioneer Village would like to thank everyone who has participated in the Food Truck Friday events this year. The groups also announced that they will pause during the winter months of January and February, but will resume Food Truck Friday next spring in March 2025.
