Woodlawn Students in State Art Exhibit

WOODLAWN - Students from Woodlawn School District participated in the Youth Art Month flag contest with this year’s theme, “Healing Through Color.”Grace Holland, won the overall contest, and her work will be on display at the NAEA National Conference March 20-22 in Louisville, Kentucky.In the high school division, winners were Nachelle Bass, first place; Loralie Farmer, second place; Annie Davidson, third place; Belinda Smon, fourth place.In the elementary division, winners were Allyson Hanson, first place; Luke Emery, second place; Brendon Goldfain, third place; Bear Schoren, fourth place.In the middle school division, winners were Samuel Pointer, first place; Sawyer Davis, second place.The Arkansas Art Educators invite all YAM winners to the Youth Art Month Awards Ceremony,  Saturday, April 5, at the Old Statehouse Museum in Little Rock.Teachers, family, and friends are welcome to come celebrate these young artists as they receive their awards. You may also like to tour the museum before or after the ceremony. Student work will be exhibited March 3-April 5. ...
