Woodlawn Student Accepted Into Art Exhibit

WOODLAWN - Woodlawn student Annie Davidson's artwork has been accepted into the 2025 Governor’s Young Artist Competition and Exhibit, hosted by the Governor and First Gentleman, at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion. There will be an awards reception in May. Davidson, a senior at Woodlawn High School is an Art IV student who had two pieces selected to be on display. The titles for the art are "Governors Dream House," a picture of the Governor's Mansion in an impressionist style done in acrylic and "Junction Brigde," a chalk drawing of one of the bridges over the Arkansas river with the city skyline in the background. This is a highly competitive Exhibit with students from all over the state of Arkansas entering art to be considered.
