Bob Abbott Is Featured Arkansan on THV

PINE BLUFF - Bob Abbott of Pine Bluff was featured on THV 11's Arkansan of the Day segment Jan. 26. The segment highlighted Abbott's dedication and funding to kidney foundations, research and families in need. The Abbott family's efforts first helped his father have a successful surgery that allowed him to live another 13 years. Abbott has been honored with special presidential awards including the President's Volunteer Service Award in 2020 from President Donald Trump, and the President's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022 from President Joe Biden. He told THV, 'There's no better feeling I can have than helping someone who can't help themselves. Abbot is the owner of the Arkansas Traveler in Rison.
