RISON - Former Rison Mayor, Cleveland County Judge and State Trooper Vernon Dollar received a special visit last week on his last day of rehabilitation at the Green House Cottages of Southern Hills in Rison. Dollar, who had been recovering from a brain injury after a fall during the ice storm, was visited by troopers J.J. Plyler, James Ryan Reed and Captain Rick Neill. Dollar and his family would like to thank the community for the prayers, texts, calls and visits. He will continue outpatient rehabilitation through the Cottages....
