WOODLAWN - Woodlawn basketball coach Logan Adair said his Bears went 7-2 in a basketball camp held at Harding University in Searcy, and then went 2-2 in a camp at Morrilton earlier this week.Adair said senior-to-be Jude Roberts once again sparked the Woodlawn offense, scoring 22 points with a running clock in a victory over Class 3A Valley Springs. In addition to Valley Springs, the Bears also knocked off Class 4A Gentry and Green Forest, as well as Buffalo Island Central. He said the two losses came against Riverside and West Fork, noting that Roberts was not available in those games.Adair said that Beau Watson, who is rejoining the basketball program this year, was a big contributor inside as Woodlawn dominated on the glass throughout the camp. The Bears were still without Roberts as well as senior-to-be Jack Lephiew for the Morrilton camp. Still, he said they came away with wins over Southside-Bee Branch and Haskell Harmony Grove. Theier losses were to Wonderview and Sacred Heart.Adair said Watson scored 16 points and Landon Pratt followed with 12 for Woodlawn against Sacred Heart....
