Woodlawn Players Make Conference Team

Woodlawn Softball Players Make All-State

WOODLAWN - The Woodlawn Lady Bears had three players earn Class 2A All-State honors this season: (left to right) senior pitcher Laci Rauls; senior outfielder Jaci Hoyt; and freshman pitcher Molly Shelby.  In addition, Rauls and Hoyt were also named to the Class 2A All-State Tournament Team.

Lady Bears Fall To Tuckerman in Finals

HOT SPRINGS - The Tuckerman Lady Bulldogs scored 11 runs with two out as they made the most of their opportunities to come away with a 14-4 victory in six innings over the Woodlawn Lady Bears in the Class 2A State Championship softball game last Thursday at Majestic Park in Hot Springs.

Patriots Stop Bears in State Finals, 6-0

HOT SPRINGS - Palestine-Wheatley pitcher Andrew Knowlton was able to keep the Woodlawn bats in check for most of the game and the Patriots had an efficient day at the plate as they knocked off the Bears 6-0 to win the Class 2A State Championship last Thursday morning at Majestic Park in Hot Springs.

Woodlawn Baseball, Softball Teams Earn State Title Berths

RISON - The Woodlawn Bears and Woodlawn Lady Bears are both headed to their respective Class 2A State Championship games after each knocked off their Riverside High School counterparts in the state tournament semifinals Saturday at Palestine-Wheatley High School.
