Hankins Finishes As ‘Top Graduate’ at Air Force School

Airman Jadyn Hankins of the Glendale (Cleveland County) graduated from Technical School at NAS Pensacola on April 8, 2025.  She received training for Non-Destructive Inspection, learning how to use ultrasound, x-ray, eddy currents, and other technology to detect miniscule defects in aircraft bodies and engines bedore they turn into larger, more dangerous problems. Airman Hankins earned 18 credits from the Community College of the Air Force towards an associate of applied science degree. Airman Hankins received the honor of Top Graduate with a score of 99.5 percent. Upon graduation, she also received promotion to the rank of Airman First Class (A1C).Airman Hankins graduated from Basic Military Training, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas, on January 16, 2025. The airman completed an intensive 7.5 week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, basic warfare principles and skills, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care.  Airmen completing basic training also earn four credits towards their CCAF degree.A1C Hankins will be assigned to the 374th Maintenance Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan.She is the daughter of Erica Hulse (Hankins) and granddaughter of Dina and the late Lee Hankins, all of the Glendale community.She is a 2023 graduate of Star City High School. ...
