RISON - Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. and the Green House Cottages of Southern Hills are teaming up for Trunk-or-Treat and Fall Fest at the Cottages, Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.This year, rather than setting up trunks on Main Street downtown, Rison Shine is moving the trunks to the drive of the Cottages. This move is to keep kids from having to walk multiple blocks of the street to go between both locations.According to Rison Shine officials, “We wanted to keep the kids safe and out traffic.”Anyone interested in setting up should meet at the back of the Cottages by 5:30 p.m.Rison Shine is also accepting donations of individually wrapped candies. Candy can be dropped off at the Herald office, 215 Main Street....
