Benefit Fund Set Up for Family of March 28 House Fire in Rison

RISON - On March 28 at approximately 11:35 p.m., the Rison Fire Department was dispatched to the 200 block of School Drive for a structure fire at the home of Timothy and LaTaveya Wells.A benefit fund to help the Wells family has been set up at FBT Bank. Donations can be made to the “Wells Family Fund.”While the outside of the home sustained relatively little damage, the interior was heavily damaged by fire, smoke and water.  Upon arrival, crews found visible flames coming from the residence. Firefighters extinguished the fire, and no injuries were reported. According to the Fire Department, it is believed the fire originated inside the residence before entering the attic and moving to the the east exterior wall.
