Board Approves November Election; $12 Million Projected Construction Cost
RISON - Voters in the Cleveland County School District will go to the polls in November to decide on a 6-mill tax increase to fund construction of a new gym estimated to cost about $12 million. All seven members of the Cleveland County School Board unanimously approved a motion by board member Helen Browning-Grice to seek the 6mill tax increase to fund the project.
