RISON - The Pioneer Village's annual Christmas in the Village Festival will return Saturday, Dec. 2 at the historic village property.
Activities will include Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 10 a.m. , a Gingerbread Contest and Worskshop from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Cleveland County Cares Christmas Bingo from 12 to 2 p.m.
There is a $5 charge for breakfast.
The Christmas Village Market will host vendors from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone interested in being a vendor should contact Sharon Gray at (870) 692-3130.
Douglas Boultinghouse of Douglas B Design Graphic Design and Photography is provid-ing holiday photo sessions from 8:30 to 10 a.m. To book a session, call (870) 510-2433 or see Douglas B Design on Facebook. A portion of each session fee will be donated to the Pioneer Village and Cleveland County Cares.
The Pioneer Village will sell hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch.
More details on the gingerbread workshop and contest will be announced soon.
In the days after the festival, the Village will also open its drive-thru light display on select nights beginning Thursday, Dec. 7 following Rison Shine's Cleveland County Christmas Parade. Additional dates are Dec. 8, 9, 15 and 16.
