RISON - The Cleveland County Fair Association has announced the Cleveland County Rodeo set for Sept. 11-12 at the Fairgrounds featuring $4,550 in added money. This year's rodeo is presented by FBT Bank and Rison Pharmacy.
The rodeo begins at 8 p.m. nightly with live music at 7 p.m. on the pavilion stage. Friday's entertainment is the Avery Langford Band, with the Grace Cowboy Church Band on Saturday night.
Events include a calf scramble with cash prizes, plus a 50/50 cash drawing. The rodeo also includes ranch bronc, bull riding, ladies barrel racing, goat tying, junior barrels, tie down calf roping, ladies breakaway, junior breakaway, team roping and mutton bustin for kids 60 pounds and under.
Buckles are awarded to average winners in each event. You must compete both nights to be eligible.
Admission is $10 for adults. Kids 12 and under enter free with paid adult admission.
