RISON - The next Food Truck Friday and the Rison Farmers Market will be held this Friday, July 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pioneer Village.Participating on this date are: Whitworth's Back Porch BBQ with BBQ, nachos, loaded fries, chili cheese dogs and more.Gorditas Lety with tacos, quesadillas, burritos, gorditas, tortas, quesabirrias and more.Mike's Rolled Ice Cream with a variety of ice cream flavors plus flavored lemonades.Crowd-favorite Angelica Glass will be on hand to provide live music and entertainment at 6 p.m.The Rison Farmers Market will offer vendor space for produce, crafts and more.Vendor space at the market is free, but spaces are limited.Those interested should email risonshines@gmail.com in advance to confirm space.The following Food Truck Friday event will be held Friday, Aug. 1 with added activities as part of Rison Shine's Back to School Bash.Bounce houses, water games from the Rison Fire Department and martial arts demonstrations from Master Jeremy Fox will be set up at the Village.Food trucks participating on Aug. 1 are Double D's Hot Dogs, Phonzie's 1 Stop Hog Shop and Q's Cool Cups.Food Truck Friday is a partnership event between Rison Shine Community Development and the Pioneer Village and is scheduled to run through August 29.For a full schedule, visit www.clevelandcountyarkansas.com...
