LITTLE ROCK - Chloe Hargis of the Woodlawn area was the first runner-up in the Miss Arkansas' Teen Pageant held last Friday night in the Robinson Center at Little Rock.
Six from Cleveland County competing in the Miss Arkansas and the Miss Arkansas' Teen Pageants held last week in Little Rock. Allie Beth King of Rison, Miss Southeast Arkansas, competed in the Miss Arkansas Pageant.
Hargis, Southwest Arkansas' Teen, was one of five girls from Cleveland County competing in the Miss Arkansas' Teen Pageant. Nearly $50,000 in scholarships were awarded to the Teen contestants during the week of competition.
Other local contestants in the Miss Arkansas' Teen Pageant were Mallory Stuckey and Cayla Johnson, both of Rison; Kaylea Chastain of Woodlawn; and Lauren Watt of Kingsland.
Miss Ouachita River's Teen Allie Bell was crowned Miss Arkansas' Teen 2023. Nearly 1,500 were on hand to see the naming of the Top 15 Semi-Finalists and the final competition for the crown last Friday night.
By finishing as first runner-up, Hargis received a $3,000 scholarship provided by Bruce Hawkins and Camie Boggs (DBH Management).
Meanwhile, Mallory Stuckey, South Arkansas' Teen, was among the Top 15 finalists and received a $500 scholarship.
Other awards given out to Cleveland County contestants during the Miss Arkansas' Teen Pageant were:

Overall Dancer - $500 scholarship given by Dr. Srinivas and Sapna Vengala - Dr. Srinivas Vengala, MD. Interventional Cardiologist, CHI St. Vincent, Hot Springs
