Kingsland Heritage Musical Festival To Be Held Oct. 25

KINGSLAND - Kickstart Kingsland has announced that the Kingsland Heritage Music Festival will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, beneath the water tower outside Kingsland City Hall.

The free event will feature live music, food, vendors, activities for children and more. It is sponsored by Kickstart Kingsland, Runaway Music, Abetya Photography and Puterbaugh Trucking.

Paul Abeyta, one of the organizers, said the musical lineup includes The Golden Boy; CSDubb, a rock band based in Smackover; Sauce', a blues and funk band based in North Louisiana; Pennington Band; Backwoods Vanguard; and Reagan Harvill.

There will be bouncy houses for the kids, and the Kingsland Fire Department will be selling barbeque as a fundraiser.
