Ladies Aux.

The Friendship Association District ladies auxiliary met on July 14th, 2022, with Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Dumas. Sister Mildred Carter presided over the meeting. We opened the meeting with a song of praise, “Count your Blessings”. Brother David Har‐rington opened the meeting in prayer. The welcome was given by Calvary MBC and the re‐sponse was given by Donna Collins of Bethlehem MBC. Our prayer requests were received from all churches. A Program was given by the ladies of Cal‐vary MBC titled “What’s on the Back'. Praise and Thanksgiving was given by Calvary MBC.. Roll call was conducted by Sister Sandra Crofford with four auxil‐iaries being present including 17 ladies, four pastors, and four vis‐itors. Our offering was $228.00 and was allotted to Brother Micah Deaton missionary to Springdale, AR. Our speaker was Brother Julius Carter the Pastor of Cal‐vary MBC. He was introduced by Bro. Jim Crane. Brother Carter’s message was taken from Philippians 2:5 (A mind of Christ) A right hand of apprecia‐tion was given by Sister Joyce Edwards of Southside MBC. After a closing prayer and a blessing on the food by we were adjourned to the fellowship hall for a salad luncheon and a variety of several delicious desserts. We all had a wonderful time of fel‐lowship. Our next meeting will be held at Center Missionary Baptist Church in Rowell on Oct 13th with the offering goal set for this meeting to go to Bro An‐thony Phillips missionary to France. We will be having the an‐nual election of officers at this meeting. ...
