New Edinburg Gets New Pumper

NEW EDINBURG - Members of the New Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department pose for a photo with Bruce and Landon Booth after the fire department bought the 1989 Beck pumper truck from Bruce Booth last year. After making some modifications, the truck was recently brought online into operations. The fire department thanked the Booths for lowering the price of the truck to make it affordable forthe New Edinburg Fire Department. It replaces a late 1970’s model Ford pumper truck after the water tank began to rust out. The new truck holds about 1,500 gallons of water. Pictured are (left to right) Landon Booth, New Edinburg Fire Chief James Gill, Bruce Booth, Assistant Fire Chief Kaleb Parker, Captain John Miles, and Roger McClellan. ...
