RISON - The Cleveland County Cooperative Extension Service will be conducting a pressure canning workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds meeting room in Rison.
The cost is $10 per person, and the workshop is being limited to eight people. All supplies will be provided.
Each participant will go home with one jar of produce and also have the opportunity to place their preserved foods for judging in the Cleveland County Fair.
