Rison ‘Farm Stop’ Begins Signing Up Vendors

RISON - An online form is now available for individuals or businesses interested in selling fresh produce, homemade baked goods or handmade crafts on a consignment basis through a "farm stop" that is being developed at the Herald office in downtown Rison. Click Here to Sign UpA farm stop is similar to a farmers market with the biggest difference being that vendors drop off their products and let the farm stop do the marketing and selling. The farm stop is open on a more regular basis giving the vendors access to more customers.Britt Talent, publisher of the Herald, said the name for the new farm stop will be the Cleveland County Homestead Collective. It will be open during regular Herald business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and Talent said additional hours could be added if demand merits it....
