RISON - Rison United Methodist Church has announced Spencer Branch as its new pastor.
Branch has previously pastored in Humphrey, Wheatley and West Helena, and the Star City native and UAM Alumni will be returning to southeast Arkansas with his new role in Rison.
He and his wife Amanda are the parents of one-year-old Daniel.
'I am excited about working with the church to create vitality and to make disciples of Jesus Christ by working toward creative and innovative ways to reach out to the community through ministry,' said Branch.
