Rison's Food Truck Friday Returns April 4 to Village

RISON - Food Truck Friday will return to the Pioneer Village, Friday, April 4 from 4 to 7 p.m.

"For the 2025 season, we have moved from the third Friday each month to the first Friday," said Douglas Boultinghouse, a representative for Rison Shine Community Development and the Pioneer Village.

Participating food trucks for April are: 

  • Granny Ruth's Seafood and Southern Cooking with catfish dinners, shrimp, chicken and more.
  • Q's Cool Cups with shaved ice, ice cream and a variety of top pings.

Matt Wilkerson, a White Hall-based musician and past guest of the Rison in the Fall Festival, will perform beginning at 5 p.m.

April's Food Truck Friday coincides with the Great South Arkansas Junk Hunt. The Pioneer Village will serve as a vendor hub for multiple vendors selling junk. The Rison Farmers Market will offer free vendor space for produce and crafts.
