RISON - In an effort to help those in the community who need help in feeding their families, Rison United Methodist Church's Community Outreach program is installing a donation box in Gateway Bank. Anyone who wishes to help in this effort may drop off items for the food pantry at the bank. For the month of October, the church is asking for donations of canned fruit. 'We sincerely appreciate the help and support of the community,' said Pam Martin.
Rison United Methodist Church holds its food pantry the fourth Saturday of each month at 9 a.m.
