WOODLAWN - Karen Talent (left), Woodlawn High School Counselor, was selected as the Southeast Arkansas Middle School Counselor of the Year for the 2022-2023 school.
This was second time she has been recognized as the Southeast Arkansas Counselor of the Year, having been selected as the Southeast Arkansas Secondary Counselor of the Year for 2016-2017 school year.
Terri Calloway (right), past-president and board member of the Arkansas School Counselor Association, presented the award at the ArSCA counselor's conference recently held in Hot Springs.
