Magnolia Salon has opened inside one of Rison’s oldest homes, the historic 1901 "Melody Medley House" at 410 East Magnolia Street.
Owner and stylist Cassie Riggins, alongside her husband Mason and family members, completely renovated the property to blend rustic history with modern charm. The redesign features original stained wood interior planks, white wainscoting, and chandeliers, paired with fresh farmhouse-style exterior siding and new central HVAC.
Following a recent soft opening, the salon is now fully operational, offering hair cuts for men and women. Riggins plans to expand services to include facials, lashes, waxing, brow lamination, tanning beds, and a front foyer boutique space for locally-made products.
Magnolia Salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted alongside appointments.
