DES ARC - The Rison Junior Lady Wildcats picked up their first win of the season last Thursday with an 18-13 overtime victory over the Des Arc Junior Lady Eagles in a non-conference game at Des Arc.Ana Taylor scored six points in the first quarter as the Junior Lady Wildcats opened up a 6-0 lead. Des Arc closed it to 9-4 by the halftime break.Rison led 11-6 starting the fourth quarter before the Junior Lady Eagles rallied to tie it, 13-13, and send the game into overtime. Baskets by Jazylyn Price and Enna Lian helped the Junior Lady ‘Cats pull out the win in overtime.Price led Rison in scoring with seven followed by Taylor with six. ...
