Sylvia Kathleen Stringfellow Reddin, 75, of Hampton passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at her home. She was born September 24, 1949, in El Dorado, AR. She was a member of Hampton Methodist Church in Hampton, AR. She was the Post Master of the Kingsland Post Office for several years; she worked for the federal government for over 30 years. Sylvia was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and an avid Razorback fan. She loved to travel, especially with the Arkansas Alumni Association. She was a Girl Scout troop leader for many years and helped manage the family business, Suzanne's Fruit Farm. She especially loved Fall in the Country and was well known for her great Halloween parties. She had the greatest laugh and her loved ones called her "Sissy". She will be missed by her family and friends.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, Ben Stringfellow and Clara Green Stringfellow. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, David Reddin, of Hampton; two daughters, Suzanne (Daryl) Parker of El Dorado, Allison (Ben) Culp of Kingsport, TN; two brothers, Ron (Pat) Stringfellow of Camden, John David (Jamie) Stringfellow of Norfork; and five grandchildren (Autumn Parker, Emmalou Parker, Benjamin Culp, Matthew Culp, Nate Culp).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital. Graveside services were February 10, 2025 at Camp Ground Cemetery with Rev. Gary Sneed officiating. Arrangement by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
