Hudson Recognized for Bravery

RISON - Chief Deputy Jimmy “Bo” Hudson of Rison, a member of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, was awarded the Bravery Award last week for acts of heroism and courage in the line of duty. Chief Hudson is the Commander of the Special Response Team, and each team member was also awarded the Bravery Award for incidents they were called to involving armed barricaded suspects and high-risk search and arrest warrants. Chief Hudson was also awarded the Fitness Award for demonstrating exceptional strength, endurance, and dedication to fitness, setting a standard of excellence in law enforcement. Chief Hudson has over 30 years of law enforcement experience, including three years working an assignment with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. He is married to Angie King Hudson, pictured with him receiving the awards.  ...
