NEW EDINBURG - Re-New-ing Edinburg expressed its appreciation to the New Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department by donating $1,500 to the fire department on Monday, June 2 at the department’s regular fire drill. The funds donated were some of the proceeds of Re-New-ing Edinburg’s participation in the spring Great South Arkansas Junk Hunt and was made possible due to the entire community’s donations of items to sale. “Our thanks are expressed to the entire New Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department and to the community for supporting the department and Re-New-ing Edinburg,” said the organization.
