Freedom Assembly, Rison Shine Plan Drive to Provide School Supplies

RISON - Freedom Assembly and Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. are partnering for a school supply drive again this year to supply all school supplies for Rison students grades K-12.Last year, the church and community organization received enough funding to purchase school supplies for all Rison students. To do this again, a goal has been set to raise $26,000 to cover all supplies for the 2025-2026 school year.Donations can be made to Freedom Assembly or Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. Either avenue would be considered a tax-deductible donation.Checks can be dropped off at the Cleveland County Herald office (215 Main Street) or Freedom Assembly (209 Mockingbird Lane).
