In last week's July 2, 2025, issue of the Herald, the article concerning a vacancy on the Kingsland City Council misidentified the vacant seat as being for Ward 2, Position 1. The vacancy was actually for Ward 1, Position 1, according to Mayor Karen Wiscaver.In addition, the story also listed the council member who nominated Samantha Johnson for the vacancy as Laura Burns rather than her actual name, Linda Burns.The Herald apologizes for the errors....
