WOODLAWN - Woodlawn High School will begin the 2025 Homecoming Activities on Thursday, Oct. 30 with the annual afternoon Homecoming Ceremony beginning at 2:30 p.m., school will be dismissed immediately after. On Thursday evening, the Homecoming Ceremonies will begin at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. for spectators to be admitted. The ceremonies will end with the crowning of the 2025 Football Sweetheart and the 2025 Homecoming Queen.This year’s theme is “At Least I See the Light.”The Senior Court includes: Bailey Aud, escorted by Junior Ace Culliford Fisher Blasengame, escorted by Senior Kameron Manes Karsyn Chastain, escorted by Sophomore Griffin Manes Junior Addison Holland , escorted Senior Dakota Campbell Jaci Hoyt, escorted by Senior Beau Watson Kelsi Mack, escorted by Sophomore Tayte Jacks Kaylee Misho, escorted by Senior Matthew Green Laci Rauls, escorted Sophomore Levi Green Jaimie Simmons, escorted by Sophomore Brayden C. Jones Kennedy Smith, escorted by Senior Owen Brown Kendall Tooke, escorted by Senior Aidan Powell Cain Wilkins, escorted by Junior Ethan Saeler Jailyn Wright, escorted by Senior Michael Wright The Day time Masters of ceremonies will be Jude Roberts and Tyner Burris. This year’s Night time Mistress of Ceremonies will be Loralie Blevins and the Masters of Ceremonies will be Issac Lowe. The Mascots will be Harlen King and Hudson Lavender, both first graders at Woodlawn.On Friday, October 31, at 1:00 the elementary classes will begin dismissing to the football field, Senior High Lunch will be normal release at 12:20 (lunch is over at 12:50, return to your 6th period class), Junior High Lunch released at 12:45, All students will be released to field at 1:15, Pep rally starts at 1:20 to 1:25. Immediately following, class competitions will begin. This year’s events include traditional games such as an Obstacle Course, Egg Toss, Tug of War and also Musical Chairs.
