Kenneth Edgar Wooley, 87 of Woodlawn, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. 

Kenneth was born June 1, 1938 in Woodlawn to the late William Edgar and Inez Lain Wooley. 

Mr. Wooley is a retired blacksmith and welder for the Cotton Belt Railroad and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon for many years. Kenneth loved to hunt, fish, camp, and play with his grandchildren, and building and welding things for people

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Betty Nell Terry Wooley, and two sisters, Nelda Pierce and Wilma Austin.

Survivors include two daughters; Vanessa Young (Terry) of Rye, and Sherry Turner (Jimmy) of Woodlawn, one brother, Lynn Wooley of Woodlawn, one sister, Joanne Dobbs (John) of Conway, six grandchildren; Rebecca Turner, Ken Young (Shelley), Jennifer Dooly (Steve), Brandy Hodge (Cory), Janee Almand (Jody), and Jimmy Lee Turner, and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were Monday, December 1, 2025 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Woodlawn with Bro. Jackie Richardson and Bro. Charles Wooley Officiating. Burial followed at Friendship Cemetery. 

Pallbearers were Ken Young, Jimmy Lee Turner, Steve Dooly, Jody Almand, Cory Hodge, Tery Welch, Tyler Welch. Honorary pallbearers were Tom Brown, Scotty Vinson, James Hankins, Owen Rushings, Robert Hankins, and Dale Brown.
