RISON - The Rison Fire Department recently purchased two portable Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), two first aid kits and three Narcan canisters using a $4,359 grant from Arkansas Blue & You. An AED is a portable medical device that analyzes a person's heart rhythm and delivers an electric shock if the person is experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
