WATER MAIN REPAIR - A crew works to move water away from a six-inch water main that had broken in two in a wooded area behind the Dorman Lumber mill on Niven Road in Rison. Joe Freyer, utilities director for the City of Rison, said the water was so deep at the break that they had to dig a trench (pictured right) to move the water in order to get to the leak. Freyer said the lead was detected shortly after 3:30 p.m. Sunday and was repaired at about 4:30 a.m. Monday.
