The "Y"/Hwy. 212 Volunteer Fire Department is reviving its Chili Supper/Cake Walk-Auction at 5 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 7, at the "Y" Community Center, 8000 Hwy. 35 North at the Staves community.Fire Chief James Wilson said this will be the first time the chili supper has been held since the Covid pandemic.The chili supper is $10, and Wilson said there will also be a cake walk and a cake auction. Proceeds help support the "Y"/ Hwy. 212 Fire Department.Residents of the fire department's service area can renew their annual dues of $35 at the supper. Also, residents can add a $3 monthly fee to their Cleveland County Rural Water bill to pay dues. Contact Rural Water to have the dues added....
