Elva Michael “Micky” Myhand, 73, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026.
He was born September 2, 1952, in Pine Bluff to the late Hagin Wilson Myhand and Elva Lorene Jones Myhand.
Micky was raised in Pine Bluff and Cleveland County and graduated from Rison High School. He later served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for more than 20 years at the Pine Bluff Arsenal.
Micky enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved hunting, playing dominoes, and watching westerns. For many years he shared his love of music as the bass player for the local band Heartland, performing at events throughout the state. He was a member of the American Legion and attended Faith Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Myhand, whom he married on October 8, 2013; his daughter, Brandi J. Myhand Parker of North Little Rock; sons Greg Phillips (Donna) of Rison, Ken Phillips (Tracie) of Rison, and Mike Phillips (Brandy) of Rison.
He is also survived by his siblings: Ricky Myhand (Bea) of Quitman; Sheila Kulbeth (George) of Monticello; and Larry Myhand of Harrison. As well as his grandchildren, Morgan Parker, Megan Parker; Tyler Phillips, Tanner Phillips, Greg Phillips II, Samantha Morris, Amber Wilson, Anthony Phillips, Matt Phillips, Trey Phillips, Jared Wilson, and Sarabeth Phillips.
Micky is also remembered by his extended family including 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Funeral service were Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in the chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son. Minister Keden Shrum will officiate. Burial will follow in Black Cemetery in Cleveland County.
Pallbearers were Glen Minor, Phillip Morris, Blake Wilson, Travis McDaniel, Joseph Kulbeth and Aaron Kulbeth. Honorary pallbearers were Anthony Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Tanner Phillips, Greg Phillips II, Trey Phillips and Matt Phillips.
