RISON - The Cleveland County Veterans Services Office at Rison will be hosting an informational meeting for all veterans regarding the CARES Act at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Hall-Morgan Veterans Building, 404 Sycamore Street across the courthouse in Rison, Cleveland County Veterans Services Officer Greg Herron.
The federal CARES act provided additional money to help veterans with a variety of services during the COVID pandemic. Herron will provide new information about the act.
