RISON - The Cleveland County Herald is pleased to announce an improved website and a new platform for the e-Herald, the digital version of the newspaper, will begin with the Wednesday, Sept. 7, issue of the paper.
“The new e-Herald is an upgraded version of the service we’ve been offering for the past few years,” said Publisher Britt Talent. “Our goal is to provide a better reading experience to our sub‐scribers across the print, e-Herald and website platforms, and this new service does that.”
The e-Herald is an exact replica of the printed edition of the Herald in the popular “flipbook” format. Talent said it is the best way for out-of-town subscribers to access timely community news. “The e-Herald is easy and convenient, delivered right to your email inbox and there’s nothing to download — just click the edition and begin reading,” he said.
Talent said the new website will continue to feature free news stories, but subscribers will now be able to access entire articles through the website where before it was just a portion of the story.
Readers are encouraged to visit clevelandcountyherald.com next week to check out the new e-Herald as well as the revamped website. “You’ll be able read community news, learn about local events and more with this new site,” Talent said. “And you can do all this from the convenience of your computer, phone, iPad or any other mobile device.
All subscribers will have full access to the e-Herald and web‐site. Those who are already a print subscriber can register for the digital edition by selecting the “Existing Print Subscriber?” option at the paywall, https:// publisher.etype.services/Cleve‐land County-Herald. Existing digital subscribers will be notified by email with in‐structions to create their new password. Those who do not see an email prior to Sept. 7 should check their spam/junk/other folders.
