The United State Army honored the late Danny Jacks with a proper 21-gun salute last Thursday in Rowell Cemetery. Jacks, a member of the Ranger Hall of Fame and Arkansas Military Veteran's Hall of Fame, passed away July 12, 2022. During his funeral services held that week, the salute was not carried out properly. The Army chose to hold a separate ceremony at a later date to salute Jacks' years of service.
