Jim and DeAnna Upp and Jeff Childress of Kingsland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Abbie DeAnna Childress, to Lathan Ferrell Erwin, son of Greg and Karen Erwin of Fordyce.
Abbie graduated cum laude from Henderson State University receiving a bachelor's degree in accounting. She is currently employed at FBT Bank in Fordyce as a customer service specialist.
Lathan attended Hinds Com‐munity College and is now a diesel mechanic at Lathan Erwin Logging.
The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Fordyce First Assembly of God Church.
